Put your trust in Pulse Umbrella to take care of your timesheets, expenses, invoicing
and tax, and provide masses of added benefits, which all add up to make us one of
the UK’s most popular UK umbrella companies.
Whether you’re new to contracting and have questions you need answering or
a seasoned contractor who wants to ensure you’re fully up to speed, you’re
in the right place with Pulse.
As a tax umbrella company, we provide a complete professional employment
service for contractors which includes a full contract of employment, HR support,
guaranteed hours of work, invoicing and timesheet management, Tax and National
insurance contributions (PAYE and NIC’s) and statutory HMRC notifications.
Pulse Umbrella invoices on the contractor’s behalf, collects payments from
clients/agencies, calculates tax and NI contributions and pays the contractor their
net pay via Bacs transfer straight into their personal bank account.
UK umbrella company employees are able to claim tax relief on expenses
that arise due to work (such as travel to a temporary work place) and this will
usually uplift take home pay. This is managed by streamlining administrative processes
and, in some cases, quelling the need to provide receipts.
You will be fully supported and entitled to a package of full statutory employment
rights such as maternity/paternity leave and sick pay, whilst also having access
to a range of affiliate offers such as discounts on financial and legal products
plus other contractor benefits.
Pulse handle holiday pay in a straightforward way; every time we pay you, we make
an account payment to you in respect of the holiday that you have accrued. In other
words, we will pay you in advance for your holidays.
Since the introduction of IR35, umbrella companies are a highly cost-effective and
responsible way for contractors to work - and an ideal vehicle for first time contractors
to get involved.
