How it works
As a contractor under an overarching employment contract, you are able to claim your legitimate business expenses. As a Pulse employee we will calculate your pay and ensure that the expenses you are claiming are allowable and within HMRC guidelines.
By joining Pulse you will benefit from all of the advantages of being a contractor without all of the hassle, administration, responsibilities and risk of running your own business. In particular, as a pulse employee you will have no risk whatsoever with regard to IR35 or Managed Service Company legislation.

2. Contracts
We will sign a contract with your agency. We will ask you to sign an employment contract with us.
3. Work
We will provide you access to our secure portal, Your Pay, to record the hours you have worked and the expenses you have incurred.
4. Pay
We will receive payment from your agency, process it the same day (taking into account tax relief for expenses) and pay you by your chosen payment method. We’ll also send you a text to let you know and put your pay slip on your portal.
